Report: Bills add Hardman to practice squad

The suddenly offensively challenged Buffalo Bills have added some Super Bowl-winning pedigree to their practice squad.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports the team has signed wide receiver Mecole Hardman.

Hardman, 27, has won three championships in two stints with the Kansas City Chiefs. The native of Bowman, GA was a Pro Bowler in 2019.

Originally taken with the 56th overall pick of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Georgia, Hardman has appeared in 80 career games over six seasons with the Chiefs and a five-game stint with the New York Jets in 2019.

For his career, Hardman has hauled in 178 receptions for 2,302 yards and 16 touchdowns. He appeared in 12 games for the Chiefs last season.

The Bills (6-3) are coming off of a 30-13 rout at the hands of the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. The Bills’ receiving leader this season is Khalil Shakir, who has 457 yards receiving, good for 41st in the league.

The Bills return to action on Sunday with a visit from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-3).
