Lake Mills WWII veteran turns 102 years old

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – A Lake Mills woman turned 102 years old on Monday. Mae Bryant marked the milestone with a surprise celebration at the VA Hospital in Madison.
“I don’t feel like I deserve anything like that, I’m just an ordinary person,” said Bryant of the birthday party. “This is exciting. It’s hard for me to believe that this amount of people want to give me a party. What have I done to deserve a party? Besides live a long time.”
