John Cena Reveals Special Theme For Night Of His Final WWE Match

John Cena’s last match is coming up, and that will be a historic night. Now that night will be even more special for the NXT brand.

The November 10 episode of WWE RAW went down at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The venue was packed, and it was a very special night, because John Cena was making his last appearance in Boston.

The Greatest of All Time is set to wrestle his last WWE match in December. This week’s RAW felt like a big night, and it also kicked off with Triple H addressing the fans. He said that the pro wrestling business has a lot of differing opinions, but there is no arguing who the Greatest of All Time is, because it is John Cena.

After receiving an amazing introduction from Triple H, John Cena made his way out to the ring. Fans chanted loudly for John Cena as he started his promo with Triple H leaning on the turnbuckle, watching on. Cena got right to the point and addressed the Last Time is Now Tournament.

John Cena said he wants to leave the business better than what he found it. He wants to give back to the fans as well, and he is very excited to see the tournament kick off tonight.

Cena also announced that his final performance will also be a night when WWE Superstars have exhibition matches with the best NXT Superstars that the brand has to offer. He said December 13 is about closing one chapter, but also paving one for the road ahead. Cena also revealed another “selfish” last ask, he wanted to come to Boston one more time. That, of course, was able to happen tonight on RAW.

Before John Cena could wrap things up, Dominik Mysterio came out. Of course, he recently invited John Cena to challenge for the IC Title. This is very interesting, because WWE has reportedly kicked around the idea of a final title run for The Greatest of All Time. Dominik spouted off in Spanish before saying that Cena was talking about the future, but that future is already there in WWE. Dirty Dom stood next to Triple H in the ring as fans chanted “shut the f*ck up.”

Dominik Mysterio demanded from Triple H to know if he’s going to do anything about what happened last week because his celebration was interrupted last week. Then Cena tried to interject, but Dom told him to shut up, or he’ll put Cena down. That is when Cena told Dom that he has forgotten who he’s talking to, or where he is. Cena said that Dom doesn’t have a chance in Boston, because “tonight I am invincible.” Then Cena gave Dom the chance to turn around and leave, because he has so much respect for his father. Dom replied that he’s not even at his peak yet, and he’s better than Cena has been at his prime, any era or stage he would have whooped Cena. The two stood face to face as fans chanted “you f*cked up.”

Triple H said that he agreed with the fans in Boston that Dom “f*cked up.” Then Triple H repeated Dom’s words that he will face Cena in any era at any time. So he booked an IC Title match, which John Cena won to become a Grand Slam Champion.

This week on RAW, Shinsuke Nakamura and Sheamus kick off the tournament to determine John Cena’s final opponent. Rusev and Damian Priest also collided in another intense first-round matchup, with both men looking to advance for a shot at making history.

John Cena’s final WWE match is officially set for December 13, 2025, at the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. during Saturday Night’s Main Event. The night is shaping up to be one of the most significant in WWE history.
