Pair of former Packers, including RB A.J. Dillon, among Eagles’ inactives for ‘MNF’

Among the six inactives for the Philadelphia Eagles for Monday night, two are former members of the Green Bay Packers. Cornerback Jaire Alexander and running back A.J. Dillon are both inactive and won’t play against their former team on “Monday Night Football” at Lambeau Field.
Alexander was ruled out on Sunday due to a knee injury and a coaching decision and did not travel with the team to Green Bay. The Eagles acquired Alexander, who spent seven seasons in Green Bay, via a trade with the Baltimore Ravens last weekend. An injured knee has affected his availability since October of last year and will now delay his Eagles debut. He has played in only two games since the Packers released him in June.
Dillon is a healthy scratch for the Eagles. He is buried on the running back depth chart behind Saquon Barkley. Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley. Dillon, a third-round pick in 2020 who spent four seasons in Green Bay, has played in only six games for the Eagles and hasn’t been active since Oct. 9. His 12 rushes have gained 60 yards this season. Dillon signed with the Eagles as a free agent this offseason.
While Alexander isn’t active, two other recent additions are for the Eagles. Edge rusher Jaelan Phillips, who was acquired from the Miami Dolphins, and cornerback Michael Carter II, who was acquired from the New York Jets, are both active. Both will make their Eagles debut at Lambeau Field.
