Will AJ Brown play today? Eagles WR injury status for ‘Monday Night Football’

Cooper DeJean on Eagles defense, Sixers and Philadelphia
Eagles’ Cooper DeJean shares thoughts on Philly sports, Vic Fangio’s praise and his Casey’s breakfast pizza obsession.
When the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers kick off their “Monday Night Football” clash on Nov. 10, will A.J. Brown play?
The Eagles’ star wide receiver missed Philadelphia’s last game – a Week 8 win over the New York Giants – with a hamstring injury. Coming out of the Eagles’ Week 9 bye, Brown was a full participant in practice every day in Week 10, and he has no injury designation for the Nov. 10 game.
That means Brown is slated to make his eighth start of the season on “Monday Night Football” as the Eagles look to lengthen their lead atop the NFC East.
Here’s what to know about Brown’s injury status ahead of the Eagles’ Week 10 game:
AJ Brown injury update
Brown had no injury designation on the Eagles’ Week 10 injury report after he was a full participant in practice all week.
That sets him up to play (and start) on “Monday Night Football” at Lambeau Field against the Packers.
Brown had missed the Eagles’ last game before their Week 9 bye with a hamstring injury. He was a non-participant in practice every day during Week 8 and was ruled out of the divisional clash with the Giants. The Eagles went on to win the game without Brown.
Philadelphia’s top wideout is also set to play in his first game after the 2025 NFL trade deadline, which passed on Nov. 4. Brown was a hot topic of trade speculation before the midseason cut-off, but despite the Eagles being one of the deadline’s busiest teams, they did not trade Brown.
AJ Brown stats
Brown has played in seven games through nine weeks ahead of the Eagles’ “Monday Night Football” clash in Week 10. Here’s how he’s performed so far this year:
- Targets: 51
- Receptions: 29
- Receiving yards: 395
- Touchdowns: 3
Brown’s 56.9% rate of converting targets into receptions would be the lowest of his career in a full season, as would his 7.7 mark in yards per target.
The star receiver has publicly expressed frustration with his usage multiple times over the course of the season, which was a big reason for the trade speculation before the deadline last week.
