Kevin Durant-Giannis Showdown Thrills NBA Fans as Rockets Beat Bucks

A pair of star veterans put on a show on Sunday.
Kevin Durant led the Houston Rockets to a 122-115 win over the Milwaukee Bucks behind 31 points and seven assists, besting Giannis Antetokounmpo on a night in which he posted 36 points and eight boards.
It was also a historic night for Durant, who moved to 13th all-time in three pointers made, surpassing Kyle Lowry.
The Rockets also got a strong performance out of Alperen Şengün, who had 23 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists.
A matchup between Durant and Antetokounmpo, two former MVPs and some of the best players of their generation, rarely disappoints, and that was the case on Sunday.
Houston improved to 6-3 with the win and currently sits in fifth place in the West. Milwaukee, meanwhile, dropped to 6-4 and is in seventh place in the Eastern Conference.
Durant and Antetokounmpo won’t meet again until April, but it should be another exciting matchup the next time they face off.
