Southern California to enjoy calm and warm weekend as high pressure system moves in

The weather this past week featured nearly summer-like heat across Southern California and a delayed warmup over the South Valley.

A lot of heat was felt within the Dodger stadium, in more ways than one, as both Tuesday and Wednesday featured a high of 97 degrees during the World Series match. This weekend an area of high pressure is expected to traverse southern California, keeping our weather very quiet and still on the warm side.

Temperatures are expected to be in the 70s and 80s areawide as we enter November in much the same way that we exited October.

Don’t forget to set those clocks back one hour overnight (or more precisely very early Sunday morning.) This means the sun will rise and set an hour earlier Sunday, compared to Saturday.
