The National Weather Service issued an updated special weather statement at 3:25 a.m. on Tuesday until 7 a.m. for Lawrence, Butler, Clarion, Jefferson, Beaver and Armstrong counties.
“Bands of snow showers streaming off Lake Erie could result in periods of low visibility and hazardous road conditions early this morning. Untreated roads could be icy during the early morning commute,” states the weather service.
