Tesco is launching 165 Christmas markets across the UK to help shoppers get into the festive spirit. The pop-up events will take place throughout November and December and offer free food and drink samples to visitors.
The supermarket giant said: “Coming to more cities and towns than ever, our free Christmas Market is heading to a store near you. Join us for free food and drink samples plus festive inspiration to perfect your Christmas celebrations with family and friends.”
The markets will run between 11am and 7pm from Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
They will appear at selected Tesco Extra and Superstore locations, featuring a wide variety of well-known brands.
Shoppers can expect samples from Costa Coffee, Chocomel, Castello, Boursin, Drambuie, Glen Moray whiskey, Baileys, Harveys, ZIP, Nemiroff, Toffifee, Thatchers, Teapigs, Tassimo, Pepsi, Quality Street, McCain, Lurpak, Lindt, Purina, Aveeno and more.

To add to the festive cheer, Tesco has also revealed highlights of its Christmas food and drink range for 2025.
This year, the retailer has added 268 new products, from party platters and indulgent centrepieces to mince pies and desserts.
Some of the standout dishes include the Tesco Finest Slow Cooked Turkey Crown, Maple Bacon & Chestnut Sliced Sprouts, and Confit Garlic Maris Piper Roast Potatoes.
Party favourites like the Char Siu Duck Bao Buns, Alpine-Inspired Grazing Platter, and Build Your Own Charcuter-tree are also part of the range.
For those with a sweet tooth, new desserts include the Salted Banoffee Cascading Star, Festive Berry Panna Cotta Snowflake, and Chocolate & Salted Caramel Wreath Cake.
