It looks like Nico Harrison’s time with the Dallas Mavericks is over.
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania and Tim McMahon, Mavericks owner Patrick Dumont is expected to fire Harrison in a meeting Tuesday morning.

Harrison has been president and general manager of the Mavs since 2021 and was the major decision-maker behind the Luka Doncic trade earlier this year.
As part of a three-team trade in February, Harrison dealt Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers in a deal involving Anthony Davis. The move was widely criticized at the time and in the months since.
Doncic has averaged 30.0 points per game in his 35 regular season games as a Laker, while Davis has struggled to stay healthy, appearing in a total of 14 games with the Mavs while averaging 20.3 points a game.
Dallas is 3-8 to start the season. While Davis has yet to suit up because of a calf strain, the Mavs did select Cooper Flagg with the No. 1 overall pick during the summer. However, Dallas ranks last in the NBA in points per game (107.2) and three-point percentage (29.5).
More to come.
