Firehouse Subs to Launch Gravy Extinguisher

Firehouse Subs is bringing holiday cheer to Thanksgiving tables with the Gravy Extinguisher, a playful nod to its firefighting roots and a fun ‘rescue’ tool for turkey mishaps. The collectible celebrates the brand’s firefighting heritage and long-standing mission to serve communities.

100% of the proceeds of each Gravy Extinguisher will be given directly to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation to honor the 20th anniversary of the Foundation, which has provided more than $100 million worth of life-saving equipment to first responders in North America.

The Gravy Extinguisher will be available for purchase from November 14 at 12:00 pm EST, only on FirehouseGravyRescue.com, at a price of $20, while supplies last. The bottle doesn’t include gravy and is available for purchase and shipping exclusively within the U.S., according to PRNewswire.

“Thanksgiving emergencies happen – and when they do, Firehouse Subs® is on call,” said Mike Vizza, Director of Communications at Firehouse Subs®. “Whether your turkey’s overcooked, underwhelming, or on the edge of disaster, the Firehouse Subs Gravy Extinguisher delivers a blast of flavor to save your feast. Best of all, every purchase helps equip the real heroes – first responders – with vital lifesaving tools.”

Built on three decades of serving hearty, hot subs, Firehouse Subs continues to blend flavorful innovation with community impact, proving that even a Thanksgiving mishap can be an opportunity to give back.

About Firehouse Subs

Founded in 1994 in Jacksonville, Florida, by former firefighters Chris and Robin Sorensen, Firehouse Subs has grown into a national fast-casual brand. The brand is known for its hearty, hot subs and commitment to supporting local communities.

Each restaurant is designed to resemble a firehouse, honoring the founders’ firefighting roots. Firehouse Subs has over 1200 locations in the U.S, Canada, and Puerto Rico, and it is still expanding while maintaining its commitment to quality food and service. Beyond its menu, Firehouse Subs invests in programs that support first responders and public safety organizations.

The Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation was established in 2005 following the Hurricane Katrina disaster to help first responders and community safety agencies. Its mission is to deliver lifesaving equipment, education, and resources to assist in securing communities in the U.S. and other parts of the world. The foundation has awarded grants for gear such as AEDs, protective suits, and thermal imaging cameras.

A portion of every sale supports the foundation, reinforcing the brand’s ongoing commitment to public safety. Through its ongoing efforts, the foundation continues to honor Firehouse Subs’ firefighting legacy and make a lasting impact on first responders nationwide.
