It was pretty clear that the ACC would be better this season, but we didn’t fully anticipate how good some of the new players would be. Obviously we were aware of Duke’s recruits, particularly Cameron Boozer, currently projected as a Top 3 draft pick next June. However he’s far from the only major talent to arrive in the ACC, at least based on the first few games. Here are some of the best players so far:
This is focused on the ACC of course, but around the country, there are some huge talents. Koa Peat at Arizona, AJ Dybantsa at BYU and more. The guy who has caught our eye lately though is Jake Wilkins at Georgia. He’s a spectacular leaper who has already shown that he’s among the best dunkers in the land.
It’s not surprising though, since his dad is named Dominique.
