Lukashenka Plans to Discuss 5–6 Issues with the U.S. — Eismant

The agenda of Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s meeting with the U.S. delegation will include five to six issues, according to his press secretary Natalya Eismant.
“As for the substance: there are five or six issues on the agenda. If the talks take place, we will definitely inform you,” Eismant told the Russian news agency TASS.
On November 10, Lukashenka announced that negotiations with a U.S. delegation were being prepared. According to him, one of the topics will be the situation on the border with Lithuania.
Eismant also said that official Minsk has “no allergy” to John Coale, nominated by Donald Trump as U.S. special envoy to Belarus.
“You know, we don’t coordinate personnel appointments with Donald Trump. We have been working with John Coale for several years and on several occasions. There is definitely no allergy. We are ready and will continue to do business and hold talks with him,” Eismant said.
