Jalen Brunson Dazzles NBA Fans with Double-Double as Knicks Beat Ja Morant, Grizzlies

Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks handed Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies a 133–120 loss on Tuesday.
With the win, the Knicks improved to 7–3 and extended their five-game winning streak, going a perfect 7-0 at home. The Grizzlies, meanwhile, have dropped six of their last seven games and fell to 4–8 on the season.
Brunson led the way with a double-double, finishing with 32 points, 10 assists and five rebounds while shooting 57.9 percent from the field to guide New York to the victory.
Karl-Anthony Towns added 21 points on 7-of-17 shooting, along with 13 rebounds, three steals and two blocks, providing a crucial spark, while Mikal Bridges contributed 22 points, seven rebounds and four steals.
Ja Morant finished with 16 points, 10 assists and three rebounds, but also had eight turnovers, and his effort wasn’t enough to lift Memphis past its early-season slump.
Jalen Brunson’s double-double dazzled fans as he led the Knicks to a decisive win over the Grizzlies.
The Knicks held a 77–54 lead over the Grizzlies at halftime, led by 14 points from Brunson, while Towns, Mikal Bridges and Jordan Clarkson each added 10 points apiece. Morant entered the break with nine points for Memphis.
Despite the Grizzlies cutting the lead to 10 midway through the fourth, the Knicks maintained pressure, and a clutch three-pointer from Brunson extended the lead to 13. New York closed out the win with key free throws to secure the victory.
The Knicks will host the Orlando Magic on Wednesday, while the Grizzlies look to build momentum on the road against Boston the same night.
