Amy Schumer resets Instagram after major health update
Amy Schumer is embracing a new beginning on Instagram.
The 44-year-old comedian surprised fans on Tuesday by deleting all of her previous posts and uploading a single new photo.
The fresh post featured the Trainwreck star glowing in a Valentino Red Silk-Wool Heart Mini Dress paired with Chanel shoes.
“I actually left my house tonight. Who’s proud?” she captioned the image. “I’m feeling good and happy. Deleted my old pics for no reason!”
Before making the announcement, Schumer shared a glimpse of her very first Instagram post on her Stories, writing, “My first ever insta post. I’m gonna erase them all cause why not?”
The comedian’s social media reset follows recent posts highlighting her ongoing weight loss journey.
On October 30, she uploaded a carousel of photos and reflected, “I’m feeling strong and like myself.”
Schumer has been candid about her health experiences, including her “horrible experience” with Ozempic. She previously revealed she underwent liposuction in 2022 and later discovered she carries the GDF15 gene, which makes her highly prone to nausea.
“So, I tried Ozempic almost three years ago, and I was, like, bedridden. I was like, vomiting — and then you have no energy. But other people take it, and they’re all good. So, God bless them,” she said during a January appearance on The Howard Stern Show.
In March 2025, Schumer shared that she began using another GLP1 medication, Mounjaro, and described her results as “great.”
After revealing her Cushing syndrome diagnosis in 2024, she reaffirmed her commitment to advocating for women’s health, saying, “The shaming and criticism of our ever-changing bodies is something I have dealt with and witnessed for a long time… I want so much for women to love themselves and be relentless when fighting for their own health in a system that usually doesn’t believe them.”
