Heart FM First Day Fly-In Competition – Terms & Conditions:
- General
1.1 By entering this competition and/or accepting any prize, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as Heart FM’s general competition rules.
1.2 The promoter of this competition is Heart FM, located at 2nd Floor, Media Quarter Building, Somerset & De Smit Roads, Green Point, Cape Town.
1.3 This competition is conducted in accordance with Section 36 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
- Competition Period
2.1 Entries open on 1 November 2025 and close at 23h59 on 15 November 2025.
2.2 The winner will be announced on 30 November 2025.
2.3 No late entries will be accepted. Heart FM is not responsible for technical failures that may prevent entry submission.
- Eligibility
3.1 Entrants must be 18 years or older and reside in the Western Cape.
3.2 Parents or legal guardians must enter on behalf of children.
3.3 You may not enter or win if:
- You are a director, employee, agent, or consultant of Heart FM or its affiliates.
- You are a close relative or household member of any of the above.
- You have won a Heart FM competition in the past three (3) months.
- Entry Requirements
4.1 To enter, send a WhatsApp voice note to 082 222 1049 including:
- Your child’s name
- Their school
- Why they should be chosen
- The words “Fly In”
4.2 Heart FM may limit the number of entries per person.
4.3 All information provided must be accurate and complete. Incomplete or invalid entries will be disqualified.
- Winner Selection & Prize Details
5.1 The winner will be selected by Heart FM based on creativity, relevance, and suitability.
5.2 The prize includes:
- VIP pickup by Heart FM’s Tanya Nefdt and the Heart Squad
- Helicopter flight into school on 14 January 2026
- Live broadcast of the Aden Thomas Breakfast Show from the school
- First-day party for the winner’s class
5.3 The prize is non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and may not include accessories unless stated.
5.4 The winner must be available on 14 January 2026.
5.5 Prizes must be claimed within seven (7) calendar days of the winner announcement. Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited or donated to charity.
- Liability & Indemnity
6.1 Participants enter and accept prizes at their own risk.
6.2 Heart FM and its affiliates are not liable for injury, loss, or damage unless caused by gross negligence.
6.3 Heart FM is not responsible for defects in prizes but will provide supplier contact details if applicable.
- Data Protection & Consent
7.1 By entering, you consent to Heart FM collecting and processing your personal information in accordance with POPIA.
7.2 Your name and image may be used for marketing purposes with prior notice and acceptance.
7.3 Heart FM will not disclose personal information to third parties without consent.
- Disqualification
8.1 Failure to comply with these Terms may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize.
8.2 Heart FM reserves the right to recover any losses incurred due to non-compliance.
