An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.2 rattled parts of Cyprus on Wednesday, but there were no immediate reports of damage.
The tremor was recorded around 11.32 a.m. (0932 GMT), with postings on the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre suggesting it was also felt in Lebanon. Cyprus is in a seismically active region, but earthquakes rarely cause damage. [Reuters]
