Mike Graham posted a message on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday (November 10) following his absence from the channel TalkTV after an alleged “racist” post appeared on his Facebook page, which he has maintained was the result of being hacked.

The 65-year-old broadcaster found himself suspended from his breakfast programme, Morning Glory, after an image of a Churchill statue appeared alongside a photograph of a packed Tube carriage, accompanied by the caption: “Tell me we’re not f***ed by multicultural b***cks.”

He then posted in an emotional video on his X page, saying: “I just want to say thank you to all of you brilliant listeners and viewers who have sent me some of the most brilliant messages of support over the past couple of weeks.

“I really appreciate it. I’ve read every single one. They really give me great encouragement.”

Graham continued: “I also wanted to give a personal apology about having to cancel the show at the Shepherd Bush Empire this week, but don’t worry, it will be back next May.”

Almost immediately, messages from Graham’s devoted supporters began flooding in, reports the Express.

One wrote: “Hopefully, this means you will be back soon, and it can’t come soon enough. You are needed right now more than ever. This is no criticism of all the people who have taken over your show and plank of the week, but it just isn’t the same without you, big fella.”

Another commented: “I miss you on Plank of the Week! It used to be my favourite show of the week. I haven’t watched it since you left. Will you be coming back to this show as well?”

On Monday, the host of the Plank of the Week podcast posted on his X account: “On Sunday night my Facebook was accessed and a vile message was posted on my page without my knowledge.

“It contained words that I would never write and an opinion I don’t share. As soon as I found out I immediately deleted the post and have taken steps to ensure my cyber security.”

Social media users remained sceptical, highlighting the comparable post on X, previously Twitter, that Graham had shared moments before.

In that message he posted the photograph of the Westminster Churchill statue, stating: “Britain today. Why are we here.”

Graham was suspended from his breakfast programme on Talk, previously TalkTV, and was substituted by Jeremy Kyle.
