Killeen ISD places two employees on leave amid sexual misconduct allegations

KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) — Killeen ISD has placed two employees on leave following allegations of sexual misconduct made by an adult who is not a district student, according to a district communication to families.

The adult made allegations against her biological mother and stepfather, both of whom are Killeen ISD employees, the district said.

Upon learning of the allegations, the district placed both employees on leave and began an investigation with the Killeen ISD Police Department.

One employee is assigned to Nolan Middle School, while the other provides services to several campuses, according to the district.

“Killeen ISD takes all allegations of misconduct seriously and is committed to a thorough and fair review of the situation,” the district said in its communication to families.

The district said it is limited in what it can share due to the active investigation but will provide updates as appropriate and permitted by law.

Killeen ISD encouraged families with concerns to contact counseling and administrative teams for support. The district also directed families to continue reporting concerns at www.KISDisSafe.com.

“The safety and well-being of our students remain our highest priority,” the district said.
