“What’s stopping Nike to launch CC1?”: Caitlin Clark Fans React as Jalen Brunson and Multiple NBA Stars Rock Fever Star’s PEs

Caitlin Clark has become one of the biggest stars in the WNBA, but her influence has been creeping into the NBA. Multiple NBA stars, including Knicks star Jalen Brunson, have rocked the Fever star’s PEs this season, earning the reaction of Clark fans.

A fan on X (formerly Twitter) first pointed this out, sharing a photo of Denver Nuggets guard Christian Braun and Warriors forward Buddy Hield both sporting Caitlin Clark’s Kobe player exclusives.

“Both Caitlin Clark PEs on display,” the fan captioned the post.

In the picture, Hield appeared to wear Clark’s latest Kobe 6, while Braun donned her Kobe 5 PE’s. This earned the attention of Clark fans, who claimed the Fever star deserved her own signature shoe.

What’s stopping Nike @nikebasketball to launch CC1? I think she deserves that.

I need her signature shoes asap

A fan also noted that Jalen Brunson was sporting Clark’s latest Kobe 6 player exclusives during the Knicks’ matchup against their cross-town rivals, the Brooklyn Nets.

While many fans praised Clark’s growing influence, some suggested the players were wearing the shoes more to honor Kobe than the WNBA star herself.

@nosyone4 Them not her shoes they wearing them because Kobe not Caitlin tell that bitch to get her own shoes

Although NBA stars donning Clark’s player exclusives earned contrasting reactions, her growing influence cannot be denied. Many fans have urged Nike to give her a signature shoe, and the brand has already confirmed that her own line is set to launch in 2026.

However, details on the launch and the design of her signature sneaker remain under wraps for now. With Nike set to release its final Kobe 6 Protro for Clark on November 12, her signature line will likely debut in early 2026.

What we know so far about Caitlin Clark’s upcoming Nike signature shoe

After Caitlin Clark signed an eight-year, $28 million deal with Nike, many have been waiting for the announcement of her own signature shoe. With A’ja Wilson unveiling the A’One earlier this year and Angel Reese launching her signature line with Reebok, many are hoping Clark will be next.

According to footwear insider Nick DePaula, the guard is set to receive a shoe in the spring of 2026, but Nike doesn’t want to “rush” the process.

“They want to get it right,” DePaula said. “I think when Caitlin’s shoe comes out, it can be a $150 million business. It could become a top-five signature franchise across basketball.”

Clark will also reportedly receive a fresh apparel line and a signature logo alongside her sneakers. However, in the meantime, fans will have to make do with her player exclusives, with Nike set to launch her Kobe 6 Protro on Wednesday.
