Thousands of users starting reporting problems with Google Drive Wednesday afternoon, complaining of issues with server connections, file access and website access.

Reports started bring made on Downdetector, a website that trackers user-reported problems, just after noon EST on Wednesday and, by 1 p.m., there were more than 2,800 users reporting problems with Google Drive.
Hundreds more had reported problems with the Google search engine and Google Docs, and there were dozens of reports about Google Workspace, the cloud computing and collaboration tools used by millions of companies worldwide.
The Google Workspace status dashboard was not showing any service interuptions as of 1:10 p.m. EST.
