Eagles’ Nick Sirianni expresses frustration over constant A.J. Brown questions

Nick Sirianni would like it if the Philadelphia Eagles’ media would stop asking him questions about A.J. Brown.

But it’s understandable why those questions keep coming, as Brown keeps speaking out about his displeasure with his role in the offense, which remains insufficient.

We saw that yet again on Tuesday, when Brown was heard on a livestream talking about his frustration over a lack of targets in Philly, something he has done on multiple occasions now this season.

“If you got me on fantasy, get rid of me,” Brown said, per JankyRondo on Twitch.

Brown, who was playing “Madden NFL 26” at the time, was having a big game with himself, which led to him saying: “That’s the only highlights of damn football I been living right now.”

Yikes.

Nick Sirianni is done with A.J. Brown questions

When asked about Brown on Wednesday, Sirianni made it clear he would like to stop getting questions on his No. 1 receiver. Sirianni also reiterated that Brown continues to be a huge part of the offense.

“I’m close to being done answering questions about this,” Sirianni said of questions about Brown. “He’s working hard, he is a big part of this game plan, and he’ll be a big part of the game plan going forward. He’s working like crazy when he’s here. I’m excited to have him.”

Actions speak louder than words, and the Eagles’ actions don’t show that Brown is a big part of the offense, as he has just nine targets the last two games, including just three in Week 10.

This is the second time Brown has seen just nine targets in a two-game span, as he also received that many combined in Weeks 1 and 2.

Entering Week 11, Brown ranks second in receiving yards and targets, and third in receptions. That is not exactly where we expected him to be when the season started, but here we are.

Trade rumors swirled around Brown before the deadline, but it appears the Eagles never considered moving him. One has to wonder if that might change in 2026, as it’s clear Brown isn’t going to shy away from publicly complaining about his role.
