Jake Paul ‘finalizing deal’ for Anthony Joshua boxing match on Netflix — ‘He’s going t0 die’

Social media celebrity Jake Paul, who moonlights as a professional pugilist, spent most of his boxing career getting criticized for challenging opponents who were old, washed, and small.
Anthony Joshua is none of the three.

“El Gallo” (12-1, 7 KOs) is finalizing a deal to face the two-time unified heavyweight champion this December on Netflix, according to The Ring’s Mike Coppinger. “AJ” (28-4, 25 KOs) undoubtedly represents a major step up in competition, at least in terms of size and punching power, compared to former opponent Gervonta Davis.
Paul was previously scheduled to box “Tank” on Nov. 14; however, that bout was torpedoed after Davis found himself in serious legal trouble.
Fans on social media predict Paul is “going to die.”
“I think Jake Paul is crazy enough to fight Anthony Joshua because the money would be absolutely obscene,” promoter Eddie Hearn told talkSPORT. “It’s a catastrophic mismatch that people would tune in to watch because it would lead to the end of Jake Paul. Hopefully, not literally, but it’s that dangerous. It’s a fight that I don’t think should really happen if I’m honest.”
Expect an official announcement in the coming days, if not sooner.
