Lori Harvey made a glamorous statement on an episode of “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” which airs on Wednesday, wearing a pair of strappy heeled sandals from Amina Muaddi — and it’s a style she shares a name with.

Harvey tapped into the strappy sandals trend with a glossy black version of Amina Muaddi’s Lori style, a stiletto sandal featuring slender crisscrossing straps at the toes and gladiator-style straps wrapping around the ankle. A stiletto toe and off-center rounded toes completed the silhouette. The model and entrepreneur, who is friends with designer Amina Muaddi, chose the shoes to accent an ensemble including a semisheer midi skirt with a reptilian-like glittering green design with a black blouse partially open and revealing a black bralette.
The footwear silhouette is one she’s shown love for in the recent past, having stepped out in September wearing a crystal-embellished version to attend the album release party for “Swag II” by Justin Bieber.

The gladiator footwear look has been embraced by a range of celebrities this year, including Vanessa Kirby, who opted for a light gold pair to attend a “Fantastic Four: First Steps” photo call in Paris in July; and Tyla, who wore a style from Alaïa in Berlin in July, among other gladiator-like shoe moments from the musician.

Harvey often wears statement-making heels, whether it’s black pumps with stirrup leggings accessorized with a dazzling anklet, bright white pumps, Miu Miu’s buckle-embellished slingback pumps, or brown leather pumps worn with glittering turquoise socks from Miu Miu. When she’s keeping her footwear more casual, she might don flip-flops from The Row.
