The pair entered the experiment during week three as intruders and things haven’t been plain sailing for them – with viewers convinced show bosses “scrambled” to find a final date for them after not expecting them to last the distance.
Now, after the final Married At First Sight dinner party, eagle-eyed viewers are even more convinced a split is imminent.
During the boozy bash, the pair faced questions from an Honesty Box.
When Leisha was asked about what characteristic of her man she struggled with, she said it was his “closed off-ish ness.”

She then added to him: “Just be honest in the moment.”
Leisha then picked up a card and asked her spouse: “Reiss how likely do you think it is we will still be together one year from now?”
He stuttered before he replied: “Erm, I just think there’s a lot riding on the next few months to see how we cope.
“I feel like if we can get on the same wave, if the arguments calm down and that kind of stuff, yeah I can see us together in a year’s time.”
Leisha then opened up on her state of mind and said: “A lot of anxieties I get is just through fear.
“Fear of when we get back into the real world realistically we are not going to be with each other all the time the way we are in here.
“So will that connection drift apart?
“I came in here to find the love of my life and I definitely know I love you.’
Yet despite her heartfelt confession, Reiss met her sweet gesture with silence.
He gave a nod then pursed his lips.
Mafs couples that have stood the test of time
Loved-up Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling of series six fame had the first Mafs baby.
The pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other on the programme and quickly found their feet in the outside world, moving into Adam’s Doncaster home.
Just 18 months after meeting, the couple welcomed their daughter Beau.
Season five couple Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins also managed to make their marriage work away from the cameras and had their first child in December.
Teacher Michelle, 29, has no regrets about taking part in the experiment. She told us: “I just feel very lucky and thankful that it has worked out – and excited for everything to come.”
Michelle and Owen were both sick of dating apps when they applied in 2019.
Owen recalled: “I had been out for some drinks with a friend after work.
“While he was out for a cigarette I was scrolling on Instagram waiting for him to come back in.
“The MAFS advert was the last thing I saw, and I joked, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if I signed up?’
“A few beers later when I was back at home I sent in the application, and the rest is history.”
Another couple to make Mafs UK history is Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson.
Despite a slight rocky start, where they clashed over Jenna’s vegan lifestyle, the show’s first same sex pairing are still going strong.
They even have a successful podcast together called Life With a Pod.
Jenna shed light on being involved in the show earlier this year when she told us: “We’re not legally married, and I never felt like we were. I definitely feel the process makes you take the relationship a lot more seriously and having the help of the experts… if you can survive that process it sets a firm foundation for a long-lasting relationship.”
Off-camera, in another room, MAFS expert Mel Schilling said: “No response.”
In a piece to camera, after the pair were then seen looking awkward at the table, Leisha admitted she was “scared” and worried the pair would lose their “spark.”
Earlier in the series, Leisha again told Reiss she loved him – and he then told the rest of the cast how he did not say it back.
Fans were quick to flag the emotional moment as the end of the road for the pair.
One took to X to write: “Reiss wants to run away whenever she says ‘I love you’ and he doesn’t like it.”
A second put: “Reiss doesn’t want to be with you Leisha. Just let him go.”
A third added: “If Reiss was being completely honest with Leisha they wouldn’t still be together.”
Another pleaded: “Pleeeease Reiss just do the kind thing and end it, Leisha does not deserve this.”
ROCKY RELATIONSHIP
The couple got off to a bad start at their wedding reception when Leisha pummelled Reiss with questions about his life.
Things went from bad to worse on the way back from the honeymoon, when Leisha threw up on herself after drinking and chatted to another man at the back of a plane for what Reiss said was “an hour.”
During a conversation with the experts, Reiss and Leisha also opened up about their awkward bedroom issues.
They revealed that Leisha would prefer more spontaneous sex, while Reiss wanted a rumble under the sheets when the lights were out and they were off to bed.
Asked what could help improve their sex life, turning to Reiss, Leisha said: “Obviously, you need to open up a lot more.”

Talking to the experts, the bride added: “He needs to be a little bit more vulnerable, cuddling, kissing.”
Reiss then told the experts: “One of the things was, I’m not spontaneous enough, in the bedroom. Okay. We’ve got routines.”
