Nigeria vs Gabon
Nigeria’s players boycotted training this week due to a pay dispute with their FA but the Super Eagles should be focused enough to beat Gabon in Thursday’s playoff semi-final in Rabat.
Nigeria finished the group stage strongly to take second spot behind South Africa and Victor Osimhen, Alex Iwobi and Ademola Lookman provide them with the attacking quality to see off Gabon.
Armenia vs Hungary
Hungary boosted their playoff push in Group F with a 2-0 home victory over Armenia and a 2-2 draw away to Portugal last month.
They allowed Armenia only two shots on target in Budapest and look solid favourites to complete a swift double in the return fixture.
Azerbaijan vs Iceland
Iceland have had two competitive clashes with France in Group D, losing 2-1 away from home before last month’s 2-2 draw in Reykjavik, and they also scored three times in a home defeat to Ukraine.
Iceland’s campaign began with a 5-0 rout of Azerbaijan and they can pick up another three points against the Azeris this week.
Ireland vs Portugal
Portugal’s Ruben Neves scored an injury-time winner against Ireland in Lisbon last month and the Irish may struggle to get their revenge on matchday five.
A point is all that Portugal require to top Group F but they should outclass an Ireland side missing injured striker Evan Ferguson.

Football acca FAQs
What is a football accumulator (acca)?
A football accumulator, commonly referred to as an ‘acca’, is a single bet that combines multiple individual bets into one. Each selection within the accumulator must win for the bet to pay out, offering higher potential returns but at increased risk compared to single bets.
Can I place an acca on different markets?
Yes, you can combine various markets in an acca, including match winners, total goals, both teams to score, and more. However, most betting platforms require that selections within an accumulator are not related to ensure the bet is valid.
What is the advantage of placing an accumulator bet?
The main advantage of an accumulator bet is the potential for higher returns from a smaller stake since the odds of each selection are multiplied together. It adds excitement to watching multiple matches, as each leg of your acca needs to be successful for a return.
