Fog this weekend, and rain next weekend

It’ll be a foggy start to our weekend, and there’s a Dense Fog Advisory in effect for the San Joaquin Valley until 11 a.m. Afternoon highs will reach the low 70’s on Saturday, and with a little less fog early Sunday, it’ll be warmer. Look for highs in the upper 70’s on Sunday.

We shouldn’t see much fog next week, just partly cloudy skies with highs in the upper70’s from Monday through Wednesday.

We’ll remain dry through Wednesday. If you have outdoor things to do, like taking down those Halloween decorations or putting up Christmas lights, this weekend is a perfect time to do that. I can think of probably 100 things I would rather do than putting up Christmas lights in the rain, which is what is coming our way starting late next week.

The first storm should arrive on Thursday, and models are keeping a steady stream of storms in our forecast through next weekend…. and even into the week following that!

There may be small changes in the details of each storm, but the fact that models continue to keep our weather wet in this timeframe is a great sign for us to get quite a bit of rain. So, enjoy this dry weekend… because rain is coming, and it could be quite a bit.
