A generous Merrylands woman is ready to fulfil her lifelong dream of giving back to her home town after her weekly Saturday Lotto ticket delivered a dazzling $1.25 million win.
The New South Wales resident held one of the eight division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Lotto draw 4623, drawn Saturday 8 November 2025. She looks forward to $1.25 million.
As the winning entry wasn’t registered to The Lott Members Club, officials from The Lott had been waiting for the ticketholder to check their ticket and come forward.
“I’m very happy today! I honestly can’t put into words how I’m feeling,” she laughed when an official from The Lott confirmed the million-dollar news.
“I’ve always wished of winning the lottery and now it has happened!
“I honestly haven’t slept for days. I just can’t believe it’s real.
“I’ve been buying a small Saturday Lotto ticket for a couple of years.
“My dream has always been to give back to my home country. I want to help the children there who are very poor.
“I’m not going to tell many people, but I want to spoil my family in little ways.”
Her winning entry was purchased at VitaLotto, 12/282 Chapel Road, Bankstown.
VitaLotto owner Tania Carrick shared she was over the moon when she discovered her store had sold its first ever division one winning ticket.
“We were so excited to hear that we sold a division one ticket in our store! We were jumping with joy when we first found out,” she said.
“This is the very first division one ticket we’ve ever sold, so it’s an amazing milestone for our team.
“It’s such an incredible feeling to know we’ve helped turn someone’s dreams into reality.
“The entire community has been buzzing, and you can really feel the excitement when everyone comes into our store.
“We’d like to send a heartfelt congratulations to our division one winner. We wish you all the happiness as you begin this exciting new chapter.”
The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4623 on 10 November 2025 were 28, 13, 1, 41, 14 and 16, while the supplementary numbers were 39 and 34.
Across Australia, there were eight division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4623 – five in Victoria, two in Western Australia and one in New South Wales.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 371 so far in 2025, including 105 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
In FY25, Saturday Lotto created 165 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 341 division one winning Saturday Lotto entries across Australia that collectively won more than $420 million.
