Feeling more like autumn into the weekend

Wednesday was a wonderful day with plenty of sunshine and mild afternoon highs in the upper 50s, and the mild conditions will stick around. Cincinnati hit 59 degrees on Monday afternoon, and while the afternoon highs may drop a tad on Thursday, I’m keeping mostly sunny skies in the forecast.

A few clouds may fly by overnight, but the morning will be clear and cold. At 7 am, temps will be in the low to mid-30s. With northwesterly winds, the afternoon highs may drop a degree or two, but it’ll still be quite seasonal.

Friday brings some changes in the forecast as moisture in advance of a weak cold front generates a very slight chance for an isolated shower. Mainly, the front will mean mostly cloudy skies by Friday night and into Saturday. So, the Bearcats game will see clouds but stay mild.

By Saturday night, the front triggers a 30% chance for a spotty shower before the clouds and moisture head eastward.

On the subject, if you are traveling over to Pittsburgh for the Bengals, there’s a 40-50% chance for a shower on early Sunday. The risk continues until around kickoff, when the sun will start trying to poke through the clouds.

Back here on Sunday, we’ll see partly to mostly sunny skies with highs near 60 degrees.
