BYD ATTO 1
The BYD ATTO 1 will start from $23,990 plus on-road costs, making it Australia’s most affordable electric vehicle. Available in two models, the Essential and the Premium, with a 30kWh and 43.2kWh battery respectively, the Atto 1 is perfect for urban settings with fast-charging capability, with DC charging from 10%–80% in approximately 30 minutes, making it ideal for city dwellers and first-time EV buyers.
The ATTO 1 is a compact city hatchback, measuring approximately 3,780mm in length, making it one of the smallest EVs available in Australia. Its compact dimensions make it ideal for urban driving and parking, while still offering practical interior space for city commuters and small families.
The ATTO 1 will undercut the price of traditional petrol-engined small cars by a significant margin, including the base-spec Toyota Yaris Ascent Sport ($28,990), Mazda 2 Evolve ($26,990), and Hyundai i20 Hatch ($35,500).
