Danny Rohl Loves Him: Rangers Willing to Sell Nicolas Raskin in Big-Money January Deal

Nico Raskin is reportedly emerging as a serious target for clubs in Serie A with Rangers’ willing to sell if the money is big, as per TEAMtalk.

The Ibrox midfielder – out of contract in the summer of 2027 – is a firm fans’ favourite and has established himself as a key member of the Belgium national team.

Rangers Willing to Sell Nicolas Raskin for £18-20m

The Light Blues star has been subject of transfer talk over recent times, and it seems to be back at his door once more with TEAMtalk claiming that a big offer in the region of £18-20million could force some serious consideration.

Previous boss Russell Martin – sacked after a horrendous start to the new campaign – had dropped the Belgian midfielder before bringing him back into the fold.

But under Danny Rohl he has been a key player once more and was on target in the weekend win away at Dundee to make it three Premiership wins on the trot for the new gaffer.

Raskin, 24, is part of the Red Devils’ squad once more as they get set for a World Cup qualifying double-header against Kazakhstan and Liechtenstein.

It’s another chance for the Rangers midfielder to shine on the international scene and it could prove a memorable week with Belgium looking to book their spot at the finals next summer for the biggest show in football.

At club level, Raskin has played 21 times so far for Rangers this season, scoring twice and providing four assists.

January could prove key for the Ibrox side should interest intensify in Raskin.

He will only have 18 months to run on his current terms in Govan and it could force the club into a twist or stick situation in the hope he extends.

Should no decision on the future come, he would head into next season in the final 12 months of his deal – a situation previously that has gone against Rangers with the likes of Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos.

Rangers face a busy return to action following the international break with Livingston first up at Ibrox on Saturday, November 22 as Rohl looks to add to his winning league start.

They then welcome Braga to Ibrox in the Europa League as they look to get off the mark in the competition at the fifth time of asking after four defeats in a row.

Falkirk then come calling to Govan in a run of three home games in eight days before three away games against Dundee United, Kilmarnock and Ferencvaros.
