Strictly Come Dancing professional Nikita Kuzmin has dismissed any suggestions that his on-screen chemistry with celebrity partner Amber Davies extends beyond the dance floor after being pictured playfully kissing her boyfriend on the forehead.
The Ukrainian dancer, 27, was snapped affectionately pecking Amber’s partner Ben Joyce on the head in an Instagram story that the former Love Island star shared at the weekend, urging supporters to back her and Nikita.
Alongside the post, Amber, 29, penned: “10 minutes left to vote guys. Please vote!”. Amber’s appeal appeared to pay off as she and Nikita achieved a remarkable 38 points for their spectacular disco-themed salsa to ‘You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)’ by Sylvester, reports the Mirror.
This secured them second position on the scoreboard, trailing only Vicky Pattison and Kai Widdrington, who claimed the top spot for the first time with their tango to Taylor Swift’s ‘The Fate of Ophelia.’

The moment comes as Nikita was spotted kissing Amber on the forehead in a similar fashion last month, amid claims their connection had ’caused concern’ and there was an ‘unmistakable chemistry’ between the pair.
However, both performers are in committed relationships, with Amber romantically involved with fellow West End performer Ben since they crossed paths on the production of Back to the Future: The Musical in 2022.
Meanwhile, Nikita has been in a relationship with model girlfriend Lauren Jaine, 24, since 2023. Sources suggest that head-kissing is simply Nikita’s customary way of greeting his closest friends and family, indicating nothing inappropriate.

Speaking to The Sun, she said: “I love Lauren Nikita’s girlfriend so much. I text her all the time. All day, every day. Lauren spends more time with me than her fella. She actually came into my dressing room before she went to see Nikita [the other day]. I have stolen her.”
Addressing the infamous ‘Strictly curse’ rumours, Amber reassured that her boyfriend Ben is ‘not bothered’, adding: “So I feel like I can brush it off as it is not affecting us in any way, which is nice. I mean he is horizontal Ben.”
Over the weekend, Amber shared a series of photos with Ben on her Instagram, including a sweet snap of him kissing her cheek on the Strictly set and another of them sharing a hug.
The West End star, who is soon to play Elle Woods in Legally Blonde The Musical, expressed her gratitude for Ben’s support: “I couldn’t do any of this without you by my side @benj0yce.

In a heartfelt message, Amber added: “Always dinner on the table after rehearsals and extra plasters ready when my feet need them.
“I am genuinely the luckiest girl in the world and I don’t tell you enough how thankful I am, I have won in life with you. I love you with all my heart.”
