Emmerdale isn’t on TV tonight – here’s what happens next after two special episodes

Emmerdale isn’t on our screens tonight, but there’s plenty of explosive drama heading soap fans’ way when it returns on Friday.
In yet another change-up to the TV schedule in recent months, the ITV soap won’t be airing due to the FIFA World Cup.
Tonight’s Group K qualifier at Wembley Stadium will see England and Serbia face off on the pitch, but fear not, Emmerdale fans, the next episode will air as normal tomorrow (14 November) at 7.30pm on ITV1.
What to Read Next
The next installment comes after three separate standalone episodes that focused on individual characters.
The first followed April Windsor and her terrifying ordeal with Celia Daniels, which has seen her dragged into the murky world of drug dealing.

The second focused on Bear Wolf and the reason he has been absent from the Dales for the last few weeks after leaving in the summer.
It transpired that, after living in his car for months, he had been taken in by Celia’s criminal associate, Ray Walters, with the harrowing storyline shining a light on modern-day slavery.
Yesterday’s third and final episode was about Robert Sugden and his experience moving prison during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The episode showed his meeting with cellmate Kev Townsend, with whom he eventually became friends and then a lover.

Elsewhere, Paddy Kirk continues to worry about Bear while also feeling hurt and believing that his father chose to leave his family deliberately.
But things take a turn when Matty Barton decides to take children Isaac and Eve for a walk, and they decide to play a game of Bear Hunt.
Eve is left gobsmacked when, across the field, she exclaims that she has seen Bear. Matty consoles Eve while apologising to Paddy and Mandy Dingle for confusing her with the game.
But could she have seen her grandpa?
