BBC The One Show host Roman Kemp has responded to news of his famous dad entering the I’m A Celebrity jungle.
The upcoming series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is merely days away, with ITV now revealing the complete roster of celebrities preparing to tackle Bushtucker Trials.
The 64-year-old will be heading into the jungle this week, accompanied by 11 other well-known personalities including Shona McGarty, Kelly Brook, Eddie Kadi, Alex Scott, Ruby Wax, Jack Osbourne, Lisa Riley, Aitch and Angry Ginge.
Roman posted on X yesterday evening, sharing ITV’s official line-up announcement and writing: “Martin Kemp? Absolute nepo-daddy. Only in there cos his sons on The One Show,” reports the Daily Star.

One X user replied: “He’ll be in good company with nepo-baby Jack Osbourne in the camp…” whilst another commented: “The number of people in the comments, missing the sarcasm is staggering/expected and wild all at the same time.”
Just three weeks previously, Martin was rushed to hospital following a horrific chainsaw incident.
He was left with bandaged fingers after matters went awry whilst handling the perilous equipment.

Martin stunned his family by sending a photograph to their group chat displaying three of his fingers “heavily strapped up”.
Nevertheless, he initially provided little explanation about the incident, merely messaging them: “Yep… chainsaw.”
Roman acknowledged it was fortunate his renowned father wasn’t left “fingerless” following the accident.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! is set to return on November 16 with its 25th series, featuring the much-loved duo Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly back at the helm for another three weeks of camp mayhem.
Several celebrities have already landed in Australia in preparation for their time on the show, including Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley, YouTube star Angry Ginge and Page 3 legend Kelly Brook, who were all spotted at Brisbane Airport.
