Chelsea Believe They Have Found The Next Kaka After Being Left Stunned By U17 World Cup Star

Cruzeiro attacking midfielder Felipe Morais has caught the eye of Chelsea, according to reports.
The teenager has been playing for Brazil at the Under-17 World Cup, where he has scored twice in three group stage fixtures.
Speaking to the Chelsea Chronicle, journalist Graeme Bailey said that Morais is a “stunning player” who is reminiscent of AC Milan legend Kaka.
Any move for the 17-year-old would have to wait until he turns 18 in the summer of 2026, but he is someone that Bailey claims the Blues are keeping close tabs on.
What do fans need to know about Morais?
The Brazilian youth international has not made his senior club debut yet, but he has performed well at Under-20 level for Cruzeiro.

Morais has made 14 appearances in the Brazilian Under 20 Championships this year, while he has also featured in the Copinha – Brazil’s equivalent of the FA Youth Cup.
At international level, the attacking midfielder played at the South American Under-17 Championships earlier this year, and he helped win the tournament, as Brazil beat Colombia on penalties in the final. He is now turning heads while playing at the Under-17 World Cup in Qatar.
Chelsea are always on the lookout for young talent
As we have seen with the likes of Estevao, Andrey Santos, Aaron Anselmino, Kendry Paez and others, the Blues do tend to watch the South American market very closely.
Morais is clearly another talent that the club’s recruitment department has identified as having massive potential.
Even though he can’t be signed for the best part of a year, the Blues have secured pre-agreements for other youngsters in the past – the most notable being the deal they struck with Palmeiras for Estevao a year before his arrival at Stamford Bridge back in August.
