RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – The Pennington County Courthouse was evacuated on Nov. 13 due to electrical issues. Reports states there was a popping sound and smoke.
The courthouse is now closed for the rest of the day.
This comes as the area is dealing with the aftermath of a widespread power outage that stretched across the Black Hills, areas of northeast Wyoming and parts of Montana.
