It appears TV presenter Maya Jama is ready to take the next step in her relationship with Manchester City footballer Ruben Dias, after she joined him up north to view their dream home.
Maya, 31, and Portuguese defender Ruben, 28, met last November at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Manchester, just months after Maya’s split from her on/off partner of 10 years, rapper Stormzy. After making their romance official in April, it seems Maya and Ruben are keen to settle down as the loved-up couple were spotted viewing a mansion in Alderley Edge worth £4million.

The luxury 6,300sqft home is a recent Omaze prize, after being won back in August by mum Emily Ward who spent just £25 on entries to the draw. The contemporary mansion, nestled in the heart of Cheshire’s Golden Triangle, boasts jaw-dropping countryside views and is fitted with a gym as well as an indoor pool, perfect for the Love Island host to enjoy some downtime in between her stints in Mallorca and South Africa.
It’s no secret that the presenter isn’t messing around when it comes to her ideal partner, having previously said last year, ‘The next person I meet I want to marry and have kids with, so obviously I’m feeling fussy.’

It was reported this summer that the Bristol-born star was considering making the big move up north to be closer to the Premier League player, after living in London since she was just 16 years old. Ruben has made Manchester his home, living there since 2020 after signing with the club for a reported fee of a whopping $68million, and now wants his girlfriend by his side full-time.
Aside from house-hunting, the pair have been enjoying time together up north, and spent their Halloween weekend partying with Ruben’s team-mates. Attending the Manchester City club party, Maya took to Instagram to show off the couple’s joint pirate costumes, captioning her post, ‘First Manchester Halloween’.
