Argentina have already secured a place at next summer’s FIFA World Cup as the winners of the CONMEBOL qualifying group.
Therefore, La Albiceleste will only feature in one game during November’s international break.
Indeed, the reigning world champions will take on Angola on Friday.
After several senior stars, including Julian Alvarez, withdrew from the squad, Scaloni’s attacking options were depleted.
However, Messi and Lautaro have decided to stay and will likely lead the line at the 11 November Stadium.
Meanwhile, El Toro should return to Italy over the weekend.
