Eurowings EW9330 just suffered a bird strike on landing at Birmingham Airport

An Airbus A319 suffered a bird strike on runway at Birmingham Airport.

Eurowings flight EW9330 departed Düsseldorf, Germany today at 06:56 CET for a one-hour journey to Birmingham, UK.

The Airbus A319 (registration D-AGWH) was on final approach to runway 15 when a bird strike occurred according to a passenger on board.

The aircraft landed safely and taxied to gate 54. Fire service inspected the plane. The return flight may be delayed.

UPDATE #1
The return flight EW9331 arrived back at DUS airport 30 minutes late.
