Myron Gaines fires back at Akaash Singh as Jasleen’s podcast heats up

Podcaster Myron Gaines and comedian Akaash Singh are back in the spotlight after reigniting their long-running feud on X. The latest round of jabs has quickly gone viral, drawing attention from both fans and critics.

Yesterday, Gaines again wrote on X, which is his pinned post at this moment, “Hey @AkaashSingh STFU forever—Part 2. (Receipts below) Your wife swore she was a VIRGIN? Married simps like you & @andrewschulz keep proving us right, three years after your weak-ass ‘women lecture’ on your trash podcast. Three things always come out:The Sun, moon, and truth.”  The post reached one million views.

In another post, Gaines had posted a video meme, on X writing, “Hey @AkaashSingh, shut the fuck up and NEVER talk shit again. Focus on your RAN THROUGH thot wife!”

Gaines revisited his earlier clash with rapper Asian Doll, saying that the controversy triggered a wave of online backlash against him. He argued that social media users resurfaced old podcast clips without proper context, using them to accuse him of being prejudiced toward Black women. The footage in question shows Gaines and his co-host Walter Weekes saying they don’t date Black women, comments that have continued to fuel criticism of the Fresh and Fit hosts.

The tension between the two traces back to early 2022, when Gaines and his “Fresh and Fit Podcast” co-host Walter Weekes appeared on Singh and Andrew Schulz’s show Flagrant 2, sparking an exchange that has simmered ever since.

During the conversation, Singh and Schulz weighed in on the “Fresh and Fit” duo’s approach to their material. Singh didn’t hold back, describing their self-improvement content as “corny” and “childish.” He went on to argue that, as figures with influence in the Black community, they were “setting bad examples.”

Following the release of the Flagrant 2-episode, backlash against the “Fresh and Fit” hosts intensified. Viewers criticized Gaines and Weekes for struggling to stand by their own views during the discussion, with many suggesting that they failed to convincingly defend the content they promote on their show.

On Nov. 6, YouTuber Mediocre Tutorials and Reviews weighed in on the feud by releasing a video centered on Jasleen, Akaash Singh’s wife, and her “Main Character” podcast. The video featured several clips of Jasleen discussing topics such as being attracted to her co-host’s husband, her experiences in college, interest in group sex, and her views on money and relationships, content that quickly fueled further controversy online.

In the video’s comment section, Gaines jumped in, writing, “Time to cook.” The following day, he took aim at Akaash Singh and Andrew Schulz on social media, accusing them of trying to “lecture” him about women. Gaines also shared a link to Jasleen’s “Main Character” podcast in his post, further escalating the ongoing feud.

A few hours later, Akaash Singh fired back by posting a clip from their 2022 podcast appearance, saying that Gaines was “triggered by jokes.” The exchange didn’t end there as Gaines continued to post about Singh and his marriage on social media.

On Nov. 11, Gaines escalated things further by sharing a video compilation of Jasleen’s comments about relationships and marriage from her “Main Character” podcast. That same day, he followed up with another post featuring additional clips of both Akaash and Jasleen’s past podcast statements.

Jasleen, host of “Main Character” podcast, addressed the controversy in a TikTok video, saying that “red pill podcast guys” were dissecting her content and marriage, and that online audiences were buying into it. Though she didn’t mention Myron Gaines by name, her remarks were widely interpreted as a response to his recent posts.

Referencing the 2022 film “Don’t Worry Darling,” Jasleen compared the behavior of online critics to “brainwashed individuals” blindly following whatever they were told. She then lashed out at her detractors, calling them “little bitch beta boys,” and questioned why people were “mad” at her and Akaash for making “jokes at each other’s expense.” Jasleen pointed out that no one criticized her husband when he joked about her in his stand-up routines, yet she was attacked for doing the same on her TikTok and podcast.

She wrapped up the video with a sharp sign-off, urging her critics to “find God, take therapy,” and stop listening to “little cockroaches and parasites,” a line that appeared to be a thinly veiled jab at Myron Gaines.
