National Pickle Day is here, and it’s a big dill for fans of the briny snack.
Friday, Nov. 14, marks the annual day of celebration for pickle lovers everywhere, according to the National Day Calendar.
It comes as more people than ever appear to be embracing pickles. Pickle-forward menu items, such as pickle fries, pickle pizza and pizza lemonade, have doubled year-over-year at top quick-service restaurants since 2024, according to data from commerce platform Qu.
Some restaurants and other companies are relishing in the commemoration by offering special deals on pickle-inspired items. Here’s a roundup.
National Pickle Day deals
Buffalo Wild Wings
The restaurant chain is offering guests a free order of fried pickles with $10 minimum purchase on Nov. 14. Use promo code FREEPICKLES. The offer is not available through third-party delivery.
Jimmy John’s
The sandwich shop, which is home to the viral Picklewich, is running several promotions in honor of the day.
- Enter to win a $500 Jimmy John’s gift card, which the chain says equates to a year’s worth of free pickles. Customers must be part of the JJ Rewards program. There are two ways to enter:
- On the Jimmy John’s app, order a Picklewich and use the code PICKLEFREAK at checkout to enter. Must be logged into a JJ Rewards account.
- Send an email to jjpickledaysweeps@dja.com with the subject line: “Jimmy John’s Pickle Day Sweepstakes.” In the body, include your first name, last name, street address, city, state, ZIP code, date of birth and the email address associated with your JJ Rewards account.

Grillo’s
Pickle brand Grillo’s is hosting National Pickle Day parties in New York City, Boston and Tampa. Each will have pickle snacks and other festivities throughout the day. Here are the locations and times:
- New York: Bar Snack, 92 2nd Ave., 6:30 p.m. to close
- Boston: Small Victories, 400 Dorchester St., 6 p.m. to close
- Tampa: Skate Park Tampa, doors open 12 p.m., event starts 4:30 p.m.
Jason’s Deli
Jason’s Deli is giving away 100 gallons of its pickle chips in four-gallon ice buckets to 25 people. To enter, follow Jason’s Deli on Instagram, then like and comment on the pickle day post.
