Ronald SIEFKER

Born January 23, 1941 in Hotel Dieu Hospital in Windsor, Ontario. Passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Norfolk General Hospital in his 85th year. Son of the late Leo and Ruth w. (Ellis). On July 4, 1964 Ron married his high school sweetheart, †Joyce E. Mortimore (2019). He leaves behind his son David, wife Yoko (Uatarabe). Predeceased by his daughter †Nancy (2022), husband Steve Klein. Proud grandfather of Luke, William and Collin Siefker. Beloved brother of R. Elaine Maedel (†Charles, 2006), Andrew (Caroline), †Larry A. (2005), {sister-in-law Laura Jean Schleifer 2016 (†Art).} Uncle of John (Eveline) Maedal, Lonnie (Carol) Maedel, Shelley (Sean) Vollans, Tammy (Ernie) Renaud, Christopher Siefker and Jennifer (Aaron) Howe. Ron was the Lions Treasurer from 1973-1985, held several positions over many years at the Wesley United Church, a member of the Board of Trade 1977 to present and volunteered with the CRA for 20 plus years. Friends are invited to call at Jarvis Community Church (formerly Wesley United Church), 19 Church Street, Jarvis on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. where the Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place and interment will take place at Gosnell Cemetery, Highgate at a later date. Donations to Jarvis Community Church would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Cooper Funeral Home, Jarvis (519-587-4414).
