Disney Changes Candlelight Processional Narrator Lineup
Disney World has changed the lineup of candlelight processional narrators. Jennifer Garner is no longer appearing and has been replaced by Susan Egan (voice of Meg in Hercules) on December 3rd and 4th. This could be due to a scheduling conflict with Jennifer Garner, but Susan Egan is a great replacement. She was recently in attendance for the christening of the Disney Destiny and was named the Godmother of the ship.

One of the Best EPCOT Performances
The EPCOT International Festival of Holidays is a celebration of international holiday traditions from around the world that takes place in the World Showcase. The festival includes a full lineup of holiday food items, including a popular holiday cookie stroll. One of the best features of this festival is the Candlelight Processional, which takes place at the America Gardens Theatre in the American Adventure Pavilion.
The Candlelight Processional features the Voices of Liberty and a choir of Disney cast members, a live orchestra, and a celebrity narrator retelling the traditional Christmas story. The Candlelight Processional has been a Disney Parks tradition dating back to 1958 at Disneyland. The Disneyland Candlelight Processional is still held for one weekend every year.
During each performance, a celebrity narrator tells the story of Christmas, recounting the biblical tale of a savior born in Bethlehem. The narration is accompanied by well-known Christmas songs performed by the orchestra and massed choir. Some of the songs you can expect to see performed include O Holy Night, Silent Night, Joy to the World, and Shout for Joy.

Typically, the processional lasts 40 minutes. Seating is first-come, unless you purchase a dining package, and will fill up quickly depending on the celebrity narrator. You can read our full review of this experience on securing a seat using a dining package. This is one of my favorite performances at EPCOT, don’t miss it.
