Man plays lottery game every day and finally hits huge jackpot in Michigan

A Michigan man couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw he won a huge lottery jackpot after playing every day.
Walter Lawson Jr., 58, played Fantasy 5 every day, according to a news release from the Michigan Lottery.
His consistency was rewarded when the ticket he bought in Romulus matched the game’s five winning numbers for the Oct. 31 drawing.
“I always check my tickets at the lucky spot scanner, and when I scanned this ticket, I thought the scanner was broken because of the message that came up,” he told lottery officials. “I read the message to the cashier, and she told me they had sold a big jackpot winner, so maybe it was me.
Lawson won the game’s jackpot of $230,740.
“I play Fantasy 5 every day, and it definitely paid off,” he said.
Lawson said he plans to finish some home improvements, pay his daughter’s student loans and save the rest.
Many people can gamble or play games of chance without harm. However, for some, gambling is an addiction that can ruin lives and families.
If you or a loved one shows signs of gambling addiction, you can seek help by calling the national gambling hotline at 1-800-522-4700 or visiting the National Council on Problem Gambling website.
