New Jersey Devils center Jack Hughes is sidelined with a hand injury he sustained off the ice, the team announced Friday.
Hughes slipped and cut his hand in a fluke accident during a team dinner Thursday, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.
The 24-year-old isn’t expected to play Saturday against the Washington Capitals, reports Friedman, who adds there is no clear timetable for his return at this point.
