Final Injury Report for Nets-Magic, Will Cam Thomas, Paolo Banchero Play?

In Wednesday’s victory over the Knicks, Franz Wagner led the way for the Magic as he recorded 28 points, nine rebounds and four assists while Desmond Bane added 22 points, six rebounds and eight assists of his own.
Now Orlando will try to pick up their seventh victory of the season in Friday’s matchup against a struggling Nets team.
On the other side, the Nets enter Friday’s contest with a 1-10 record after losing to the Toronto Raptors at home on Tuesday night.

Michael Porter Jr. led the way for Brooklyn in Tuesday’s loss as he ended the game with 21 points, six rebounds and three assists while Nic Claxton recorded 21 points, eight rebounds and four assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up another victory in Friday night’s matchup, both squads may be without some of their key players due to injuries.
Nets Injury Report, Will Cam Thomas, Day’Ron Sharpe Play?
For the Nets, they have three players listed on their injury report for Friday’s game, including Cam Thomas.

Brooklyn has ruled out Thomas as he continues to be sidelined due to a left hamstring strain that is expected to keep him out for at least another two weeks.
With Thomas sidelined, the Nets will likely continue to rely on Porter Jr. and Claxton to carry the load offensively while Egor Demin will likely continue to have an increased role.

The Nets have also ruled out Haywood Highsmith as he continues to be sidelined to begin the season while Day’Ron Sharpe is listed as probable due to a left glute contusion and is expected to play.

Magic Injury Report, Will Paolo Banchero Play?
On the other side, the Magic have two players listed on their injury report, including star forward Paolo Banchero.

Orlando has ruled out Banchero for Friday’s game due to a left groin strain that he suffered in Wednesday’s victory over the Knicks.
With Banchero sidelined, Wagner and Bane will likely be relied on to carry the load offensively for the Magic while Anthony Black and Jonathan Isaac may be in line for larger roles.

The Magic have also ruled out Moritz Wagner as he continues to recover from a torn ACL he suffered last season.
