Where to watch Washington basketball vs. Washington State today: Time, TV channel

The Washington Huskies are off to a solid start in Danny Sprinkle’s second season on Montlake, and now the head coach will return to his birthplace in Pullman, Washington, for the annual Apple Cup against the Washington State Cougars.
Although Sprinkle was born in Pullman, he was raised a Husky by his father Bill, who starred for the football team in the 1960s. Now, after winning his first Apple Cup 89-73 in Seattle last year, Sprinkle will be bringing a much-improved roster to the Palouse in his second season, headlined by freshman forward Hannes Steinbach, who is averaging 14.7 points and 12.8 rebounds per game through his first three contests.

The Huskies will not be at full strength for their matchup with the Cougars though, as Indiana transfer Bryson Tucker will miss the next few weeks after suffering an ankle injury in UW’s loss to Baylor. However, Sprinkle’s team could be on the verge of getting USC transfer Desmond Claude back from an ankle injury of his own.
“Dez is progressing. Still no contact stuff, so that’ll probably be a game-time deal, and even if he is (able to play), he’s not going to be in game shape,” Sprinkle said after the senior was spotted at practice on Wednesday. It’s kind of a day-to-day deal. He’s been out for a little over a month now…I don’t know what kind of shape he’s in; he can usually run like the wind, so I’m not expecting it to take too long, because cardio-wise he’s pretty good.”
