Emerging young gun Jaron Rillie is set to spend significant time on the sidelines after sustaining a hamstring injury.
The Perth Wildcats are expecting the guard to miss approximately eight weeks, after bursting onto the NBL scene this season, playing 10 times and averaging 8.9 points a game.
The club also confirmed Noa Kouakou-Heugue (personal reasons) had returned to team practice and would be back on the active roster for Round 10.
Perth currently sits fifth on the NBL standings, with six wins from 11 games.
