Robert Pattinson is set to feature in a fresh Netflix thriller alongside Academy Award winner Denzel Washington.
The former Harry Potter star is currently marking the launch of psychological drama Die My Love, where he appears as Jennifer Lawrence’s screen partner, Jackson.
Pattinson tackles a completely different narrative in Netflix’s Here Comes the Flood, which is currently in production.
Helmed by Oscar nominee Fernando Meirelles, it centres on a group of characters embroiled in a robbery.
The streaming platform has only revealed a brief synopsis of the film so far, reports the Mirror.
“Here Comes the Flood is an unconventional heist movie about a bank guard, a teller, and a master thief in a deadly game of cons and double crosses,” Netflix reveals.

Joining Washington and Pattinson is The Walking Dead’s Danai Gurira.
Whilst specifics about her character remain secret, Gurira has established herself in powerful roles.
Her most memorable performance is arguably zombie-killing warrior Michonne Hawthorne in the post-apocalyptic series.
The Zimbabwean-American actress is equally recognised for playing protector Okoye in Marvel’s Black Panther movies.
The ensemble also includes Normal People star Daisy Edgar-Jones, who portrayed smitten teenager Marianne in the BBC sensation.
This marks another foray into thriller territory for her, following her appearance with Sebastian Stan in the 2022 cannibalism chiller Fresh.
Elsewhere, London-born actor Sean Harris, who previously bagged a Best Actor BAFTA TV Award for his role in Channel 4’s Southcliffe, will be showcasing his heist skills.

Netflix viewers can also anticipate a reunion with child star Moisés Arias, best known from Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana series.
Arias recently featured in Prime Video’s post-apocalyptic drama Fallout, sharing the screen with renowned actors Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins and Kyle MacLachlan.
Rounding out the leading cast is Justin Kirk, recognised for his role as Prior Walter in HBO’s fantasy drama Angels in America. Fans of Succession may also remember him as politician Jeryd Mencken.
Here Comes the Flood is penned by Oscar nominee Simon Kinberg, the writer behind the original Mr. and Mrs. Smith film from the noughties, as well as several X-Men films.
Netflix promises that the thriller “promises to keep you on the edge of your seat”.
