The new Geely EX5 has launched in the UK market just last month as an SUV priced at only £31,990.
Stylistically, the new EX5 has design characteristics that makes it very comparable to the Range Rover as a market-leading off-roader.
This new vehicle is also the first of Geely’s being offered in the UK.
So it will be exciting to see how it fares among British customers.

In the UK, the EX5 comes in three trims for customers to choose from – the SE, Pro and Max model ranges.
It reaches top speeds of 109mph, with drivers being able to accelerate from 0-62mph in just 6.9 seconds.
Geely claims the car’s battery can charge from 30 to 80 per cent in just 20 minutes, which could be a highlight for owners.
Inside, there are comfortable heated seats, as well as a 15.4-inch touchscreen.
The Max model has even been fitted with a state-of-the-art 16-speaker stereo.
All three of the EX5 models have a 218hp motor and 60kWh LFP battery pack, which is said to be able to range between 255 to 267 miles.
The cars come with an eight-year warranty, and early buyers could even get their hands on a free home charging cable.
Geely is the latest addition to the UK electric vehicle market, following the success of other Chinese brands like Jaecoo, Chery and Omoda.
This manufacturer has big plans for the UK, hoping to introduce four cars to the country by the end of 2026.
It also hopes to develop a sizeable dealer network, where 25 have already opened, with plans to grow to 100 by next year.
